Project Description

Below explains what this project is all about.

The project will link people from different cultural backgrounds and play a critical role in transporting iron ore from the central Itakpe to Warri port, and promote the development in the agricultural and mining sectors along the route subsequently expanding trade and commerce which will lead to better standards of living for the West African Country citizens. The project was on pause for over 30 years due to lack of funds. Current work on the project is estimated at US$200 million. According to reports, this route has seen a patronage boost of over 200 percent in recent months, and the communities along its route in the states of Delta, Edo, and Kogi are starting to favour it as a mode of transit.
